Hello!
My name is Hanna Kim. Born in Seoul, South Korea, I loved to draw from an early age. Just as a hobby though, as I wanted to become a zookeeper. But the hobby stuck with me as much as my love for animals, and I wound myself up in California Institute of the Arts in USA as a character animation major, where I developed a newfound love for design and storytelling. During my undergraduate studies I created short films such as "After School" and "Raccoon and the Light", which received several awards and recognition, including Gold Medal in Animation at the 45th Student Academy Awards in 2018 and Official Selection at The American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

I graduated in 2019 and worked as a storyboard artist at DreamWorks Animation in Los Angeles for the last 5 years, where I contributed on films such as The Bad Guys (2022), Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022), Dog Man (2025), and more.

I'm currently living in Geoje, South Korea and available for freelance work.
